Steering Shaft Washer
This washer was designed to clean metal chips. The washer consists of eight white nylon fixtures. Each nylon block is rotated one eighth of a revolution, or 45 degrees, by a pneumatic indexer. A steering shaft is placed skinny side up into the washer at the first position. The washer will then index the part once firmly in place and all safety conditions are met. The steering shaft is flushed with fluid once after the indexing completes. The steering shaft is dried with a blower until it returns back to the beginning where it is unloaded and replaced with another shaft.
