Jounce Blocks are capable of moving to a desired position, then holding that position while using the servo motor’s brake. The jounce block then oscillates continuously to the provided offset. The velocity, acceleration, and deceleration of the servo motor can be adjusted to provide the desired frequency of oscillation

Our Jounce Block has been made to interface with a driveline dynamometer. A gear rack and pinion system shuttles the top section to an offset of ± 250mm from the center position using a servo motor. The offset of the center position is controlled by an analog voltage signal from the driveline dynamometer.
