Steering Column Tester

This particular machine is capable of testing a single steering column with motion and force application along 2 axes. The program and user interface for this system are created using Visual Studio and feature a user-programmable test profile to facilitate custom tests and versatility.

The monitoring screen shows real-time data in the form of digital and analog (force) inputs as well as position feedback from the linear actuators. The graphical display can be customized by the user.

Similar testers can be configured to incorporate multiple testing stations, which can be run independently and with different test profiles if desired.
